2. Boil water and add the ginger to it. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
3. Sieve the content to obtain a clear filtrate.
4. To the filtrate, add honey. (More can be added to taste.)
5. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
6. Pour 1/2 cup in a glass.
7. Add carbonated water, a lemon slice, and ice. Stir and serve.
8. Any leftover drink must be refrigerated otherwise, the mixture will begin to ferment.
