THE BEST CAREER YOU CAN EVER PURSUE IN LIFE

THE BEST CAREER YOU CAN EVER PURSUE IN LIFE (FOR ADULTS AND ASPIRING CAREER INDIVIDUAL)

Growing up a as a child, I had people ask me questions like “when you grow up, what would you like to become”? This same question goes for any other child who has a quest to grow up as an adult and be ready to face all the responsibilities that come with being an adult.

As young children, many of us had the privilege to attend primary schools and then proceed to secondary schools. However, some get lucky to get admission into tertiary institutions while others aren’t lucky. But for those who are not lucky, they would often find themselves either as apprentice, paid jobs with meager income or other forms of business venture or skill acquisition programs. Not everyone in this category ever gets to live a life of fortune (in fact, only a few might succeed).

For the category that gain admission to tertiary institutions, they would have to spend a minimum of four (4) years determined by the course of study. Courses like medical science would often take seven (7) years to complete, which are all normal course during the academic career. But this is not a normal course in an environment like Nigeria where a four-year course would be completed between seven to nine years. Very frustrating indeed!

For instance, I know a friend who spent seven (7) years pursuing a 4-year course; and sometimes after the university education, we desire that (either by stroke of luck or compensation for knowledge acquisition from the tertiary institution), you will find a very good job with mouth-watery pay package; but this is far-fetched for so many people as our expectations do not actually reflect the economic realities that we face. This is accounted for by a friend of mine, after spending 7 years to study a four-year course, proceeded to acquire an MBA.

Thereafter, he took a leap into the labour market and do you know what he got? A paid job with a monthly salary of N50,000. Oh! He must have thought: “Nine wasted years should have been used to start a business”. You might say, “ so I am against going to school”? No! No! No! in fact going to school is good but it should never be your life-long goal!

What about me that did not completed my tertiary education? I had to drop out because of lack of funds and thereafter got a paid job with meager income. However, I pursue another alternative and acquired a professional qualification in accountancy. But I did not stop at my paper qualification! I developed my skills! Even though some companies did not employ me because I had no university degree, it is interesting to know that I had worked in trading, manufacturing, commercial banking, investment banking, oil and gas etc. Also, I have facilitated trainings on financial modeling; accounting software etc. but all these I am saying about myself is not the intent of this article.

Now, let us go back to the subject matter, in pursuing your life long career, there is one myth which is widely held but I am going to debunk and that is

"HAVING AN EMPLOYMENT AS YOUR LIFE-LONG GOAL IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN EVER HAPPEN TO AN INDIVIDUAL”

Your HEALTH is as Important as Your LIVING.

"Health is not simply the absence of sickness."

What is the true definition of Healthy Living?
It may sound absurd that we need to define Healthy Living.
Although we all know what Healthy is and we also know what Living is.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. Interestingly enough, health is not simply defined as just the absence of disease.
The actual definition of Healthy Living is the steps, actions and strategies one puts in place to achieve optimum health. Healthy Living is about taking responsibility and making smart health choices for today and for the future.

Eating right, getting physically fit, emotional wellness, spiritual wellness and prevention are all apart of creating a healthy lifestyle. Since the entire YOU, meaning all aspects of one’s self, must work in harmony to achieve wellness, you need to put balanced energy into each aspect of yourself.
To eat aright is more or less impossible with high preference to fast food and absence of essential food nutrients due to processing factors that strip off the major nutrients from our staples.

Our physical appearance is a reflection of our state of health. Being overweight is an indication of a highly toxic body due to poor digestion and blood circulation and an inefficient defecation cycle.
One of the solutions provided by the GNLD is to provide a supplement Tre-en-en which bridge the gap created in our diet.
Hence, managing our health is essential to sustain ourselves, not just to look good but also for us to function at our peak while doing our daily activities.

NUTRITIONALS: What You Eat

“You are what you eat” is more than just a catchy phrase your mother used to get you to eat right. It is a profound truth.

In a world of fast food choices is it any wonder that our health is declining and the rate of disease is increasing? On any given day 95% of the population in North America will not consume foods which provide basic nutrients required for good health. On that same day 75% of the population will consume foods that will contribute to a decline in our health.

When you do not get what you need and you consume too much of what you don’t need you create nutritional gaps in your diet and expose yourself to the possibility of developing any number of diseases that are related to nutrition deficiency.

GNLD has developed nutritional products intended to help you fill the nutrition gaps in your diet.

As you investigate GNLD Products further you will not find “fad” or “hype” products. Why? Because for over 50 years GNLD has been researching and producing food supplements which are part of the human food chain. If the raw material components of our nutritional products are not recognised as having been safely used in the human diet, we will not use them in our Products.

Because your health is your most important asset, we take it seriously.

What is the Reason Behind Fiber Consumption?

The importance of fibre in our diets is as important as the diet itself.

Are you aspiring for a healthy growth? Listen to what the experts say, “… a dietary intake of 20-35 grams of fiber per day is highly recommended.

A diet rich in fiber and low in fat is a key factor in promoting good health.

For years fiber has been associated with proper elimination and regularity of the bowel. High fiber diets have also been linked to reduced risk of heart disease, it impairs certain forms of cancer, diabetes, diverticulosis, and obesity.

Both of these products can be mixed with your favorite drink or combined in foods to offer a simple, natural way to increase your fiber intake.

The Relevance of Vitamins to the Body's Health (Part II)

In a follow-up study, Dr. Zemel used obese subjects whose caloric intake was restricted equally—but this time half of the group added 1200 milligrams of calcium to their daily diet.

The group with the calcium-enriched diet lost twice as much—10.9% of body fats versus 5.4%—as the group without the additional calcium intake.

Dr. Zemel also found that calcium actually helps the body rid itself of fat cells through a process called apoptosis.

This can greatly impact one’s ability to keep weight off, says Dr. Zemel. “If those fat cells are still there waiting to store excess energy, it’s easy to gain the weight back again. If you get rid of the fat cells themselves, it’s much easier to keep the weight off.”

While nutrient-rich foods may be the best source for critical vitamins and minerals, most diets fall significantly short of the
recommended daily allowances.

Supplements help to fill in the holes. As Dr. Ames says, “Take a supplement … There is plenty of evidence that it’s good insurance.”

GNLD understands the nutritional gap created by most Western diets. Our quality products, including Super-B, Threshold Control, BComplex , Calcium, Chelated and Cal-Mag, can bridge the nutritional gaps in your diet while helping you to maintain a healthy body weight.
